The capacity of Cressing Road currently stands at 4,151. ![]() The ground has a recently extended Main Seated Stand (above) that can accommodate 553 spectators and has a further six wheelchair spaces. The terraces either side of the Main Stand can accommodate a further 735 spectators. ![]() The Clubhouse End of the ground (above) has recently been upgraded with a new terrace. This end of the ground can accommodate 803 spectators. ![]() The Quag End of the ground (above) can accommodate 761 spectators with cover for 357. Part of this terrace can be designated as a sterile zone for matches where spectators are segregated. ![]() ![]() The Cressing Road side of the ground (above) can accommodate 1,296 spectators, with room for 862 under cover. The floodlighting at Cressing Road has recently been upgraded to over 250 lux to meet the entry requirements to the Football League. This upgrade, together with six new turnstiles and a total refurbishment of the dressing rooms was completed in March 2007 at a cost of over £140,000 to meet the ground grading requirements for entry into the Blue Square Premier. Braintree Town reached the 2007 Conference South Play-Off Final, where they were beaten 1-0 by Salisbury City.
