Braintree Town's FA Cup First Round fixture at home to Chesterfield is one of eight ties that will feature in the BBC's FA Cup Final Score with Jason Mohammed on Sunday 9 November, with kick-off at 2pm. As a result of additional funding and advertising secured for the match from, in particular, Braintree District Council, the Club will now be reviewing the ticket prices for the game and, with the agreement of both our opponents and The FA reduce them accordingly - more news when we have it. Braintree were looking to overcome Weymouth for a place in the FA Cup first round, which would see them host League One side Chesterfield. Having drawn at Weymouth, with neither team scoring, the tie exploded into life at Cressing Road, with the tie finishing 3-3 and Braintree going on to win 5-3 after extra time. In the FA Cup First Round draw, made at the National Football Centre at St George's Park in Burton, the winners of Tuesday evening's Fourth Qualifying Round replay between Braintree Town and Weymouth were drawn at home to Chesterfield, currently tenth in Sky Bet League One.
