Jul 23: Quinton testimonial a success
Iron long-term servant Brad Quinton stepped onto the Cressing road pitch for one last time in his testimonial match against Ipswich Town.

Jul 20: Brad Quinton's Testimonial on Tuesday
This coming Tuesday evening, 22nd July we will be entertaining an Ipswich Town XI. The match will be a testimonial game for long-serving player Brad Quinton who has reluctantly had to retire from the game after making 546 appearances for the Club. Brad will be playing on Tuesday evening and all Iron supporters are invited to show their appreciation for a true Braintree Town man. Kick-off is 7.30pm and admission prices for the game, which is pay at the turnstiles on the day, are as follows: 10 for adults, 7 for OAPs and those still in full time education, 5 for under 16s and 3 for under 11s.

Speaking to Iron manager Alan Devonshire prior to Saturday's victory over Southend United, Alan re-iterated his focus on strengthening his squad ahead of the season.

Braintree Town won their third pre-season match in a week with a deserved odd goal in three victory over a full strength Southend United side at the Cressing Road Stadium on Saturday.

Jul 18: Shrimpers to test Iron
Braintree Town continue their pre-season build up with the visit of League Two side Southend United to the Cressing Road Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon. Please note that the kick-off for this match is 1pm.

Jul 16: Iron well beaten by Norwich
Braintree kicked off their home pre-season campaign in a changed white strip, unfamiliar to Cressing Road.

Jul 14: Strong Norwich side to test Iron
Braintree Town continue their pre-season build up with the visit of Norwich City to Cressing Road on Tuesday evening, 15th July. We understand that the Carrow Road club will be sending the first team squad over for the game and kick-off is 7.45pm. Admission prices for the game, which is pay at the turnstiles on the night, are as follows: 10 for adults, 7 for OAPs and those still in full time education, 5 for under 16s and 3 for under 11s.

Jul 13: Iron hit eleven on Saturday
Braintree Town got their pre-season campaign underway with eleven goals on Saturday, four in the 11.30am kick-off at Stanway Rovers, followed by seven at Long Melford in the afternoon game.

Jul 07: Friendlies start on Saturday
With pre-season training going well at Cressing Road, the Iron squad turn their attentions to the first of the pre-season friendlies this coming Saturday.
